@dogmaul: Yupp, I know. What I meant, when I am reving it, it should lighten up (course its lighting when I turn the key). Because my cars new thats what frightens me at the moment.
Hi there
Is there a chance that one can visit one of Renaults factories (preferably where they make the Clio. Even better the Sport 172...). Any contacts? Remember seeing pics around here somewhere... Ive been to Peugeots and to Audis factories and would like to see where my new cars comes from...
@all: Thanks for helping out. Mine is a MK2; its one week old today (with 1400km on the clock) so perhaps I shouldnt rev it to 7000 rpms, should I? Anyway, I check tomorrow whether or not I have the gearstick light...
Hi there
Isnt the 172 Sport supposed to have a gear changing light (for showing the best moment to change gears). If so: where the heck is it and why does it light up (rpm).
Thanks for enlighten me.

@all: Okay then... Of course I was over an hour too early at the dealers place... My car wasnt quite ready (vacuum cleaning still needed to be done) but after the paper works (and handing over a bunch of cash. Btw, funny feeling when you are in the middle of Zurich with the whole amount of cash...
Hi there
Tomorrow 09:00 Ill be at the Renault dealership to pick up my iceberg-silver Clio Sport. Cant wait... I am exited like when I was a kid (only now I am 36... oh well).
Any ideas how I can fall asleep tonight (must be legal, though)?
Sandro
@Cupster: Not bad mate, just not quite the answer I was looking for. ;-)
btw: drunk drivings not allowed in good ol Switzerland (and I am not very sure whether or not that ones true in Britain...). Cheers, then.
Hi there
End of next week a silver Clio Sport MkII will be mine. In the Swiss -German specs it says that the radio/CD is controlled via satellites on the steering wheel.
Funny thing is, neither the car I tried nor any cockpit pictures of Clio Sports (at least the ones I saw) showed these...
