Just paid £3500 for a late 2002 Cup with A1 bodywork, FSH, T&T and only 45k. Thought that was a steal...

Bit of a Clio newbie - having owned 205/306 gti's upto now. I'm due to have the cambelt done soon on my 46k Clio 172 cup. Will the dephaser need changing at the same time as a precaution? And would it be sensible to change the water pump too considering the mileage? Thanks.

Renault Dealers quoted me £770 + VAT for cambelt and aux belt changes on a CUP with no aircon. Gone to a few Renault specialists and Looking at £300 + VAT for the same. Ouch.
