They do but they cost £400 and a long wait. Mine took 3 months to arrive.
It will almost certainly be the spring losing its tension and sticking on the black cable disk holder. Cleaning can help but they always end up sticking back again after a while.
You can check by opening and closing...
Too used to seeing lowered Cups / Sports.
It does look high but if you Google standard ones its about right by comparison.

Remember seeing this for sale on Gumtree.
I don't buy that thing with the alarm. The alarms were all retro fitted in the UK along with the wheel locks when the cars arrived in the UK from France. Mine has a cobra, car bought brand new from Renault.
Cheaper option could be just to stick decent sound deadening in the boot. Chap on here posted about doing it a while back and made a massive improvement.
If it was so critical to run them in hard from new the forum archives would be full of people posting about oil consumption issues.
Can't say mine was ever driven particularly hard on a daily basis and certainly not from new and it never used to use a single drop of oil till it decided to drop...
Sounds like a load of garbage to me.
Just keep a eye on it, if its continue to lose oil get a leak down test. Hell of a lot of oil to lose in one track day.
Whats so special about 200 bhp ? lol BHP is s**t, its torque you want. If your chasing figures though the only way is forced induction.
Wouldn't even bother with throttle bodies. You'd only just, if your lucky, make 200 with them and then thats your lot unless you spend even more wedge then...
Somebody crashed into my girlfriends Seat Ibiza 1.4 a couple of years ago. She was offered decent spec BMW's as a courtesy car inc a open top 3 series. IIRC the total bill from the hire company of the car she picked which was a 25k decent spec 1 series (the most basic one on the list) came to...
I think with tyres, expense of them vs cars value goes out the window. Its the only contact you have with the road, your life is worth more than any cars value.
That said if you drive like a idiot in dodgy conditions it probably wouldn't matter what tyres a person had on.
It is quite scary to...
It might be true to some degree the saying ''if they want your car they'll take it'' but there are those thief's who are determined and those who are simply opportunistic, the latter of which is by far the vast majority. If you leave your keys visible then your leaving yourself open to both.
The best thing you can do with a Ph1 Exclusive is break it for parts. Terrible colour, terrible interior, terrible wheels. Lemon of a idea.
Ph1 (normal) will be saught after being a ''first edition'' and plummeting rapidly in numbers now. Sure the Cup will, being a light weight raw number and...
A good few years ago, think it was on the old forum? there was a forum member on here who went to town at GDI, (ultimate everything), before chargers and turbo's were common place and had the standard plenum cut open and re-worked and from memory only gained a few extra bhp, nothing worth doing...
Your garage must have had a bad experience and based it on that. Check out the thread i did on the a few years back. Torque was awesome (with other breathing mods granted). Saw off some decent gear on the 1/4 mile too, Focus RS, MR2 Turbo, Golf R32 etc etc with full interior and some ICE in the...
Fueling back to normal: probably restored it rather than gained it.
Should have got it mapped or reset the ecu when decated. Might have made a difference.
Would love to supercharge mine but read they don't like miles so probably no good for a everyday car and turbo-ing, would be worried it would ruin the way the car drives.
I bought one last year from Renault but it took about 3 months to come (made to order maybe??) and as said is was near on 400 quid which is a complete rip off.
Cleaning and re lubing is only good as a temp measure. The problem is the spring loses its tension.
Just replaced a set of Parada's on the fronts as they were getting low. Had a look at the last time i replaced them and got just under 17k's out of them! Can't argue with that for wear.
