I think it all depends how wild you go with the design, the first exhaust I had o my VTS was a twin 5 inch tailpipe designed for an Impreza, I kept ripping it off on speed bumps and every time they sorted it no mither.
Just had a custom built put on my cup be a powerflow dealor in Burnley called Topgear, no regrets, not sure about any power gains, if anything goes wrong with the exhaust you get a lifetime guarantee, just take it back and they will sort it for you.
Well decided to have the exhaust done yesterday, nice sound not too loud, twin exit, got to admit the car doesnt feel quite so sensitive on the throttle but as soon as 4.5k comes the car pulls really srtongly, Its going down to Hillpower in a couple of weeks for some cams, induction kit and chip...
Cheers people, had the work done yesterday decided to leave the Cat in place as advised by Top Gear, for the .5 gain in performance its not worth the hassle come MOT time getting the damn thing back on, plus he said the car would be really loud and boomy while on the motorway
Cheers people, the only reason I wanted to use Powerflow is the fact they custom design the system for you, just choose your tailpipe design and the exit position and they make it for your car, have any of you any other recomendations of places to get the same done.
People, my Cup is going into Top Gear in Burnley for a powerflow system fitted, has anyone got any recomendations for tailpipe designs that would suit the Cup gonna go for twin exit but cant decide on tailpipe design.
Please help, my renewal has just come throught and the b******s want £1300 for a years insurance on my Cup, Im now 25 and have 6 years no claims, I thought it would have been about £600

Hey roamer Ive done this with my Astra GTE, its made a massive difference to the performance, it will take the Cup out with ease in a race to 60, I even went as far as taking the grinder to any spare metal knocking about.
The astra is bloody loud inside though, dont think I can justify...
