Been looking for this for a while, my local tescos don't sell it otherwise is of cleared the shelf
People on DW have found it good for paintwork too, but I'd wait for more info on that before trying it as a iron fallout remover
I was worried ill be honest
Was my first customer that wanted a
Detailing service since I've been a self employed valeter. I really want to be doing more jobs like this as I feel there isn't enough detailers on the move around here.
So I was crapping myself, it's important I get the first job...
I think I've fallen in love with scholl today
Did an enhancement detail on an Audi a1. Once decontamination was sorted I went straight for ultrafina which is usually my weapon of choice for light defects. But I needed something with a bit more bite and gloss.
So I went for scholl s17+ on a 3m...
Been absolutely baffled today
Had a red honda jazz to valet for an old lady earlier. She was asking about the faded paint.
I assumed with it being Japanese paint that it wouldn't take much for it to be restored.
So I cracked on with the bonnet, 3m blue pad on the DA with some srp... No...
I personally, (especially if doing a machine polish) soak it into an old mf cloth and dab the cloth on the bad areas and then wipe until the tar is removed
Rinse, Citrus, dwell then high pressure
Rinse, lather, rinse, clay, oblitarate, rinse, lather again, rinse, dry, tripple, tough coat, AG HD, crystal, revive, satin
:)
You could take out the tough coat part IMO. Not necessary if AG HD'ing
Won't last long if using wheel cleaner or any acids and solvents
But if they do last let us know
Elite ones have viton seals and brass components. Gonna order a marolex 2ltr one soon for wheel acid
The prime strong included in the kit will remove the duet layer. Which is fine. Then the jett sealant will protect your paint well, keep it topped up with the QD in the kit. Sorted
I would scrap AS duet after you've done it and get something like wolfs white satin or AF lather, they won't...
Impressed myself today
Swirly old audi a4 I had a play with
FC+ on 3m wool, removed 95% of the defects, then finished down with ultrafina on a blue 3m pad. 1 set each
I don't think I will ever ignore the 3m range, fool proof
Had an amazing day today
Guy called me up to do three jaguars for him, two of which, were very tasty! Combined insurance cover up to £500,000 apparently
E type
And 1 of only 7 in this spec (right hand drive automatic)
And only zymol concours would do :)
Kranzle was delivered today
Bloomin'eck it's a quality bit of kit
Tiny too! Very quiet and good constant pressure
Ideal for running off a tank and a generator, which is mainly why I bought it. Sick of karchers
Well impressed
Lol, I meant detailing
But I am swayed toward mondeo St alloys on the LWB
LOoks class IMO, but then I gotta lower it and carrying weight I'm just not sure
Looks good though
Yea. Gotta sell it soon I think! Insured on a valeting van now. I hope to god I find a way of keeping it, after all the money spent looking after it!
Any suggestions on blinging up a transit connect lol!
