nail on the head there.
when i was in ali's, it was the fact the engine is turning over at 6000rpm, about 10" from your head, and especially with ali's the fact the exhaust note is so deep and inviting, it all adds to the drama of the car. sure, for the money you can buy faster cars, but...
i agree. ali took me out in his on sat night, and after slagging it, i actually respect it and understand. its the whole idea of being different. loads of other things you can buy for v6 money, but because of that, it makes the v6 that little bit more special.
looks a great day lads. i am truely gutted i missed this. managed to "hire" my mates garage on friday night to get the car looking mint, then ha to go into work on sat. knew it would happen, seen it coming all week, just got an email today saying things still aint going to plan.
if i was to "accidentally" break my gearbox to the extent it needed replaced, would renault replace it with the new one that has a taller 5th and 6th gear, even though my car was built before it was introduced as standard on the 197 range?
thats the cup racer, which i believe can be bought from showrooms in france. its a french showroom. well guessing it is by the plate on the espace outside.
i bought the correction stuff from polished bliss for the winter, simple to use and quite durable.
polished bliss are excellent, and customer service in my opinion is second to none.
i see the have stopped the association with zymol for certain reasons.
Anyone heard of them or used there products? Was just in the bodyshop next to my work for a blether and the guy was using it, said he has been for years.
It just a specialist line of products for paint refinishers etc...
yeah. 2 should be just at the door sill, the other two were beside the heat shield. well on the cup it was. should all be covered by rubber gromits, but takes no more than 10 mins to undo all the bolts.
was when i stripped mine.
4 bolts on underside of car, extended 13mm socket i think disconnect wires (disconnect battery long before you do this though),
i am waiting on my springs arriving, but will prob get a garage to fit them. wont be more than £50, and thats including a tip for the mechanic who is a good mate.
