There are a couple of us down here. Im in Invercargill, where thinking of setting up? Been here two years and am really enjoying it. Will NOT ever go back to the UK. My WRX cost me the equivalent of 13000 pounds which would be around the 20K mark in the UK. 4 bed house with 6 acres in the middle...
Never say never. If a maufacturer is able to sell a 4 door version in a particular country that prefers a 4 door version Im sure they would make it.
Someone correct me if Im wrong but Im sure they made a 4 door RS2000(MK2 Escort) specifically for the Australian market. There were too many of...

I had EXACTLY the same story. £120 to change the belt but then, oh the tensioner seems to be seized and youll need a new one. They couldnt get the old one out however and had to fix it into a certain position and hope it didnt slip.

Been looking into a 93/94 Mazda 323 GTR. 4WD, 1.8L 16V turbo. About the same size as a Clio 16V and has that aggresive look as well. Very tuneable as well through Mazspeed. Long pedigree as they competed in many rallies.

Does the off set of the Williams wheels differ to those for a 16V? Im sure (nearly) that Williams wheels have an offset which makes them stick out further. I once followed a Clio thro Warwick that had all the stickers in the right place but it was not a blue one. Cant remember which colour...

Water pump? Is it going to be an electric item. They seem to be an essential feature on cars that want all out hp. Crank scraper? Might be as worthwhile as a sump baffle.

Go to your credit card company and tell them that you want to pay for a holiday for you and your family. You need to buy flights, book hotels and transport. Give them a price, say 12K for the whole holiday. They say yes and you have 2K plus a little extra.
Or, ask TonyKL for his 2K!!!
