The lambda sensor is for emissions in the exhaust, shouldnt have anything to do with the engine not starting

You'd be fitting throttle bodies, (look like trumpets) and getting rid of the inlet manifold at the front, theres some pics of yozza's on throttle bodies, even though its a 2.0, just to see what they look like..
