Advice on tailpipes please people,
thinking, twin or quad even? Not sure help me, replies and pics please

Does not affect the free insurance at all, Renault insurance are fine with ICE upto £1k, wheels, lowering, window tints, colour coding etc, no problems, just phone them first, People say all kinds of crap on here about how it goes against the insurance and warranty but you just got to check...
Ok I have read some of the past posts in last few months re: exhausts induction kits, general feeling seems to be Viper is very good if you have a remap.
What does remap mean? is this the same/similar as having superchip fitted?
Where would I get it done in Exeter area and how much would it...
Mine went through THREE full loads of oil in the first five months of ownership, no leaks just bedding in the engine components, Its been up on the ramp every month at a Ferrari garage being checked by my mate and there was no residue anywhere, Has settled down now, so now worries, Just a common...
got it fitted to mine, I had the original Ktec grille and you have to cut out standard factory plastic grille, apparently the new one just fits over. phone Ktec

I know these have been covered separately probably a million times but please help me,
Looking to get an induction kit and then a while later an exhaust for my 1.2 16v dynamique,
Recommendations please.
Would like a nice grrr sound and maybe a little power gain if poss.
Thanks
Jesus £177 for an induction kit with Tesco insurance, You need to be with a better insurer, Just got quoted a confirmed quote from Liverpool Victoria for £754 for my 1.2 16v with any styling mods covered including engine mods like exhaust and induction kit!!
AVS sports are wicked!! first I thought they were a bit crap cos they screeched as I did 50mph round mini roundabouts which I wasnt used to with my 15s but tink that was the bigger wheels causing it,
not my speed of course!!
What you mean with all of the knowledge on this forum none of you know the price for a new key!!
Are you ready..??.....................
£140-£160!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Includes new blade, transponder unit and programming by Renault dealer.
One of my keys is fixed inside my steering column for...
Supposedly liverpool victoria do a deal whereby you pay an extra 10% and then you can do whatever you like to the engine, (except changing the engine) and its covered as long as you keep receipts!!! Try them search for them on google, they have a website with rough quotes but call cos apparently...
better brakes increases performance of any car relatively speaking cos in a driving or racing situation the guy (or girl) with better brakes can go into corners faster breaking much later.
How much is the ktec kit? Front disc upgrade I take it???
No they dont mess the speedo cos most likely you will get bigger wheels with lower profile tyres, therefore your rolling radius will be almost the same as before.
Renault insurance, phone them before evry modification you do. Most will say its fine, mines lowered 60mm, 17s, colour coded, ice...
Re: Clifford Cooncept 300 + remote start and invalidating thatcham approval.
If the place you get to fit it will give you two separate invoices, one for the alarm and another for the remote start interface kit then you can show the insurance company just the alarm one and that way make a...
Take the dash off, its a bit tricky but Im sure theres a fair few people on here who can guide you through it. opens it all out for you,
What sat nav system you fitting?
OK couple of questions, one guy said his 1.2 did something like 115 but not since he fitted 17s, surely 17s will make it faster? they should make the speedo read more not less!
Had mine to 126 ish same as a couple of other people but obviously the accuracy not likely!! Should get a go with a...
in reply to the original post if you put it by the cup holders wont the gear stick get in the way of seeing the screen properly, I remember some months ago someone was thinking the same idea and was put off cos of the gear stick, just a thought :)
hehehohohaha sorry just read the bit about 172 faster than DB7 hehhehehe pick myself up off the floor!!!
apologies if the 172 really is quicker and if it is then damn what have you done to it!!!

definitely -60mm mate, if you do -40mm you will only later and think sh*tb should have done -60mm plus there is harldy any price difference I dont think.
ouch!!! What did they do for that? Phoned them to ask them what they do at 18k/2yr service one guy said just an oil change, one reckoned oil change, air and pollen filters. Not a lot for £167!!!
Just did some sample quick quotes
Age 20 1 years NCD
Clio 172 brand new £1700 - £1860!!!
Seat Ibiza Cupra 2001 £1656 - £1760!!!
Now someone please remind me why I bought a 1.2!!!
Just got the AVS sports fitted on 17s to my 1.2 16v last thursday, maybe its me expecting too much after fitting bigger wheels but I cannot keep nearly the same speeds round roundabouts with the bigger wheels on,
Anyone any explanation, I have been told my rolling radius is pretty much the...
