Defo get a 172 Cup mate, i've just gone from a 220bhp Ibiza Cupra to a 172 Cup and the Cup is so much more fun to drive!

You got it then mate, how you finding it? Just for reference regarding how it should compare to your Cupra, i just got back from the airfield where i raced my brothers mk4 Golf 1.8T running Custom Code (otherwise standard with k03s) and i can comfortably beat it everytime :)

I think good money is in perfect wheels, ie no splits or melting etc. Auctions always shoot up towards the end anyway :)

Will definatly look at that as i have some annoying rattles in the dorrs to get rid of. Does sound more wheel/engine related though. Also my exhaust has a rasp around 3k upwards, i'm guessing its blowing somwhere around the manifold maybe?

Well spotted, 1st owner was from Wotton Under Edge (not far from Bristol) then it was sold to a guy up in Chesterfield, then i've brought it back down south again to Gloucestershire. Thanks :D
