Sorry to drag this post back from the depths, but ive just noticed that ive got a dipped headlight out on my cup and although RT-ED has replied on this post, he is unsure so was just wondering if anyone else knew. Can anyone recommend any better bulbs than the standard renault ones?
Cheers in...
Thats what im asking you guys! It wasnt even warm, it was luke warm, meaning that it was just off of cold, you woulldnt swim in it! It just wasnt freezing cold, just above that temp. Has anyone else replaced a Cup windscreen?
Yeah, as i said it was luke warm, tepid at most, defo not hot, as im not totally stupid. I was shocked that such a slight about of heat could crack the window! Might just claim i came out and found it like that after it had got cold one night!
Anyone replaced a window on a cup, im guessing you...
Bleeding put luke warm water on my window this morning, as it had an inch of frozen snow on it, and way almost unscrape-able. Anyhow, no i have a hairline crack about 2 inches long on my light-weight Cup windsheild! Wonder if this comes under warranty!!!!:(
Ive got a single 3.5 Scorpion, the previous owner put it on with a K&N. Its noisey, really metalic on accleration, wouldnt have another fitted. Over 80 on the motoway its just a bit too OTT. Looks OTT too.

Less than a month! Not by much though. Still not had it out in the dry though yet, thats a day im looking forward too. Went out for a blast around the country lanes today in Leeds area, managed 26.6 miles per hour average. Man, the roads have got busy!
Might have a look at removing it then. Hell, im never gonna put in any shopping, it would make it too heavy!! ;)
I am seriously looking forward to some dry weather, since ive had it, about 3 weeks, its never been totally dry! Its been good getting to know it in the wet, and it does behave very...
Cheers for all your replies guys. Im really pleased with the car i came from a fiat Bravo HGT which was a barge of a car, not to shabby in a straight line, but wallowed all over the place once you started changing direction. Im used to the stripped out squeakiness of the cup as well, as before...
Hey all, again apologies for being new and not knowing so much about my car, but thats what im coming on here to find out. The guy that part exchanged my cup didnt leave the handbook in it, and he is (apparently) going to send it to me, but as yet i dont have it. (not sure if that will answer...
