Out of interest, what evidence of being a student do you have to provide?

Amazon have a 13" (2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, 250GB HDD etc) for about £70 less than apple are selling it for. Buuuut, if you buy an apple product from a 3rd party supplier, do you still get the initial year free applecare? Would it just make more sense to find a student, and 'borrow' their student...

I still had things like settings, facebook, ipod, camera etc in the task bar. But that's stuff I always have open! Meh, strange. I'll make sure I clear out the task bar before going to bed next time!!

I went to be last night with my iPhone having about 70% battery, my alarm didn't go off and I woke up an hour late. Somehow the battery drained the full 70% overnight without any usage whatsoever. I didn't have any new apps open or anything running.... Has this happened to anyone else...

For some reason I never got on with the commando! Used it a few times, but for some reason had pretty crap rounds on TDM with it! The FN FAL was alright, but semi-autos suck unless you're sniping. Agreed on the AUG! I used that for quite a while! Roll on level 14!!

what guns, perks, equipment are people using? I was mainly using the Famas, reflex sight, suppressor, crossbow, semtex, claymore, concussion grenades, lightweight, warlord and marathon! Using the Enfield or M16 with pretty much no extras now as I've prestiged....it's so hard. Have to steal...

Played MW2 for the first time ever last week. No idea why everyone says it's better than black ops :s the host migration and server issues need addressing with black ops! But it is an epic game, just frustrating with the MP issues

does anyone else have issues logging onto the PSN? It's doing my tits in now. I'm connected to a wireless router, did the connection test and it's all ok. Then when trying to sign into the PSN, it comes up with an error. I don't understand the issue....access to the internet and log on details...

I had major problems on the PS3 last night. It would freeze on the multiplayer lobby menu, so I'd have to switch off the console (couldn't reset using the controller), when it did eventually put me into a game it was either a game that started 3 minutes beforehand or it was really bad quality...

I'm currently using the M16 but has quite a bit of recoil on it. So shooting people at short range is f**king hard. especially when they run around in circles, jumping up and down. claymores are awesome on free for all when you've got a cheeky little spot to pick people off.

Has anyone else ordered through tesco entertainment. It said it had been despatched on Sunday at 3am... It's still not arrived! Despatched to me means it's in a van, on the way to a central postal/courier sorting depo to be re-directed to my house. As if that takes 4 days.

Mines the same. Especially with youtube videos. Low quality videos that are ~2 minutes long take about 10 minutes to download before I can play them. Otherwise it plays for 2 seconds, freezes for about 20 seconds until the stream catches up and so on. annoying
