air leak, have you wound your front plenum bolts down onto the fuel rail guard?? Did you renew the gaskets? When TB's normally fail they wont rev not the other way around
£166 for pulley, don't think you can get bolt separately. ALWAYS change belt kit if removing, don't be a fool! Will be about £500 quid to do unless you can do it yourself.
If it was underside, id say more a crank pulley seal although how the cover design is, it covers the area to be 100% sure. As fred has said, seek a 2nd opinion from a specialist. These cars can go very wrong when dealt with incorrectly. To diagnose the camshaft seals the top engine mounting...
Yes the green plug is the sensor to try!! To be 100% safe, while the switch is out, try and land yourself a oil pressure tester, this simply screw's into the sensor hole and gives you a mechanical read out when the engine is running. This will confirm if you have issues or not. From cold you...
Oil pressure switch is close to the oil filter, if its that wire, it would explain light on dash as disconnected shows open circuit. Its a small round plug, single wire iirc. Brown plug of a switch higher up is the knock sensor, this should not cause oil pressure light to appear
i would say the bottom pulley has become loose and swung its self way out of time. Now im not 100% but in pic one it does look like the piston is at TDC sitting at the valves hence your cranking for a second problem.
Johns shocks are good, but most are off leda drawings aren't they?? just valved using different shim designs etc. I have LEDA, is my 2nd set now and i can't fault them in anyway, by far the best if ever fitted/used. They are pricey but you pay for what you get!
Saw you just over Elizabeth causeway bridge approx 12.15pm saturday then today just off warboys roundabout on the bypass about 2ish, im sure it was the same car!!
Are you implying that matt is willy wonka?? :rasp:
I mean i was impressed at TDF's set up but i did miss the chocolate river, i would of been all over that lol
Anyone know where i can get some as a super sweet set of rota rims have come up and need buying!! :D
Ive looked on ebay but can only find ones from the usa!
Help needed asap
Ive seen it once, took a little tracing but found an air leak from the acoustic valve to inlet plenum & defective carbon canister. I repaired the rubber hose & replaced the canister and its ran fine ever since. Did not try them inbetween so cant say which fixed it lol!! Having a live diagnostic...
JMS did it, didn't they??
:S
Not good luck your having, sounds like a inlet pulley to me! Ive done a few for various people now, mostly ph1's i will add lol
