i keep getting the electrical light coming on and car going into limp mode, luckily i have a diagnostic machine tho! comes up with something ... potentiometer intermittent. can i just plug any other pedal unit ( from a clio ) in or does it have to be programmed? its getting pretty annoying now...

off topic but does the wet and dry on the headlights ge rid of the weathering? and what else have you got to do? :)

im sick of seeing my light, 30mpg in a 1.2.. il try disconnecting the battery first see if that cures it but if not il get a new 1, cheers for the help people :star:

My petrol light is constantly on, before anyone says put petrol in i have got quarter of a tank lol.. and the fuel is still registering on the guage, its been on all day and wont go off, iv unplugged the sender unit cleaned up connections but no joy, can anyone help? its an 02 plate 1.2 16v

i thought that when i got a 1.6 astra, i was wrong.. 30mpg at best, i got my 1.2 16v as i thought it would be a cheap runner but i see about 32-38 ish. my trip computer just lie's to me lol

dci's are good, expensive when they go wrong - injectors mainly as there over £200 each! my mum has a dci and its wicked on fuel tax etc, as for mileage 130k is nothing i've seen them with 200k on! my astra 1.6 has 154k runs and drives like new with vauxhall service history

immo... short for immobiliser. and yes £500 for the wheels, team dynamics pro race 2's, look them up and bear in mind i paid £150 for a refurb and yes it has crossed my mind thats its been ruined or crashed... again lol

exhaust £105, springs £60, wheels over £500, full sport interior £150.. all suspension components renewed, cambelt, headgasket, water pump, 8 new valves, and it was a cat C write off had a new wing, light, bumper and bonnet. i sold it because of the immo and due to my job i didnt have the time...
