Can´t get hold of Elf so i was wondering if Castrol formula RS 10w60 or 0w40 would be ok? Am going for a couple of trackdays this summer so i want an oil that can withstand high temps.

It´s not lighter according to this http://www.renault.com/datamedia/doc/mediarenaultcom/en/6586_4vues_et_caracteristiquesClio_GB.pdfhttp://www.renault.com/datamedia/doc/mediarenaultcom/en/6586_4vues_et_caracteristiquesClio_GB.pdf
Yes i do Rob. We all know how good everyone thinks the springs are. The dampers are made by Sachs race engineering and tested on the car. The combo is sold as a system with the same suspension travel as the OE ones, nothing drastic in other words. Bulletproof..

Go for the Eibach Pro System if you have the cash, Pro springs mated with Sachs dampers. I have a set in my closet! waiting to be fitted when the snow has come and gone.

Don´t know if it has been up already but here it is. Look at the second place car. This was at the last WRC rally event. http://www.wrc.com/en-GB/Results/Overview/Stages/default.htm?SN=2003&RC=I&TC=69&FF=&FVhttp://www.wrc.com/en-GB/Results/Overview/Stages/default.htm?SN=2003&RC=I&TC=69&FF=&FV=
BenR -The McLaren MP4-17D is an "old" car, still good but not as good as the Renault. The Illmor/Mercedes engine is the only part better on the Mac. Come on.... Kimi is 2pts behind the best driver of all time in the best car of all time.
Go Renault!!

NA is superior thou. More responsive, more fun but more expensive to build and tune! Nicer engine note etc... This is my personal opinion. Soon only supercars will have high output NA engine:(
