it will help reflect radiant heat from the manifold, leaving the pipes exposed in hot weather and running the engine stationary wouldn't do any good to the brake fluid.
I could do with some of that in this weather. Looks like the ideal insulator for you pipes, I wouldn't wrap each pipe though, rather one complete sheet fixed to the bulkhead again to allow air flow behind the insulation sheet. If you wrap each pipe individually it will also keep the heat in the...
NO, If the car has ABS it can mess that up too, usually there is a difference in overall circumference between the two tyres. You would have to keep all 4 tyres the same size.
Thats the one^^^^ Sometimes a black plug. Its on the front side of the gearbox facing the radiator, Yer probably have to remove the airbox to make it easier.
Might have inverted the Master cylinder seals, or not put the pads back in their original positions. Hopefully the latter in which case they need bedding in again. Also the rears need the handbrake operating a few times to adjust up .
Also, if it is too low you'll be riding on the bumpstops at every pothole and every lean at corners.
I never was a fan of coilovers, they seem too bouncy on tracks when riding the kerbs, anyone else think the same?
Mine took a litre off ATE Blue to completely clean the old fluid out. As the above post says try and empty the Master cylinder first using some sort of sqeezy bottle with a tube attached. Start at the furthest bleed nipple away from the master cylinder ending up with the nearest and if you have...
Just take the brake disc and new bearing. If the old one needs to be pushed out allow 2 Mars bars.
The Clios brakes are the same brake configuration as your Ibiza.
The thermostat is on the end of the engine with the top hose connected to it. You can flush the cooling sytem by disconnecting the top & bottom hoses, then stick the hosepipe in every pipe and run water through for a few minutes also take the expansion bootle cap off and flush from there. You...
He could stick some Renault badges on them and in all innocence assume they are Renault's. He hasn't had the car very long I believe, not a problem then. The most that could happen is the insurance co. would not pay for wheels to be repaired. It's hardly a performance mod on a 1.2
I can't see an insurance co. not paying out just for having the non OE wheels, after all they are Renault ones and would probably been an option/accessory when the car was new. Any subsequent owner would not know this. If there were some other mods that were obviously not a Renault made part...
As house prices are at the moment relatively cheap, the quicker you get one the better. So save every penny you can now and leave the car alone for a while. Unless you are rich, you like most of us can't have it all. Happy house hunting.
You don't need a guide,
Lift the front of the car enough for you to see around the bottom of the engine bay.
Remove engine undertray if you have one.
Remove front grill. The top bit.
Remove front bumper.
Remove slam panel.
Remove Air filter box.
Unplug & Remove Electric fan. Unplug the fan...

HCs yes, unless they are grooved discs, then they are Max's.
DS Pads yes.
Castrol Response Yes or Castrol SRF if you are rich. Did you run plenty of fresh fluid through each bleed nipple to flush out the old stuff? I suck out the old fluid from the master cylinder resovoir first then...
