I done mine first at 6K, rang Reno & they told me not to bother until 12k unless i drove it hard !!! WTF ? Ran it in for first 600 miles not going over 5k rpm too much, have changed oil every 6K since runs sweet as, all good so far. Got my 24K service booked in couple of weeks.

They do tap a little from top end I believe, but i wouldnt say knocking tho. Guess if you are worried might be worth getting it checked out eh ?

I would say not normal Maz, have you done the under bonnet checks for loose covers, pipes & fixings etc ? Exhaust mounts maybe? Hard to say without hearing it I guess. More knowledgable peeps help please !

Yeah Id agree with peoples view on this one. It took me a while to sell my last car even though it had been cared for very well for over 6 years! But because it had been modded I had to wait for a like minded person to take it off my hands & he got the deal of the century !!!!!
