Re: COD 7 - Black Ops
^ There has been a new Call of Duty, every year for the last 3 or 4 years.
Fingers crossed Treyarch bring something new to the table again (Nazi Zombies?). For all the grief they get, I actually enjoyed World at War...
Do any of you guys switch kits?
I was a Recon the other night with a medic next to me. He died, I picked up his kit and revived him and vice versa. Don't think we actually used any respawn tickets for the whole match! came top too!
Try it, you'll feel invincible and gives a real sense of...
Just completed it.
Wow. F*CKING WOW. :)
Overall, my feelings haven't changed, one of the best, most impressive games I've ever played. Up there alongside Uncharted 2. But f*ck me, the ending is LONG. Good, and very complete - in the context of the trilogy, but odd nonetheless.
Anyone...
And handsome, wealthy and well-endowed. Chicks love a winner.
Back OT:
I like buzzing over to the enemy base, laying some AT mines down by vehicles (using the explosives upgrade that allows 6 AT mines!) then hopping on my quad back into the firefight.
Easy points. :)
Wassat? Seriously, I've not heard of that, how does it work? The stars are just stat-tracking. You can get multiple stars that show you're an ace with that specific weapon!
There aren't any heat-seeking RPGs? :S There is a wire-guided one though (keep the reticle over the target and it'll hit...
In a Clio? :clown: Really?
It might seem like that if you've spent your whole life driving a vintage 1.0 Micra.
I like:
- Performance and handling for minimal running costs.
No likey:
- Durability of interior and rattles.
I would have said the Cooper S, but I'm loving my Cup at the moment. An MCS definitely *feels* more grown up, but the interior is not that great, in real terms.
Also, the long 1st and 2nd gears in the R53 got on my tits.
My old one:
Sorry, meant the multi-player was deeper than CoD's. :o
There was a single-player mode? :S ;)
The move from the 360 to the PS3 highlighted the awfulness of the PS3 controller. I'm used to it now, but would welcome suggestions of a decent/ durable alternative?
^ Completely agree that it was initially frustrating. But then I was comparing it to CoD4.
Like BF:BC2, once you overcome the 'CoD Effect' you begin to find a better, deeper game. IMO.
Fave map is Conquest - Panama Canal. Awesome.
LOL @ "Tracer Dart shotgun" ;)
The Tracer Dart does nothing to infantry (apart from make them flash on the mini-map! LOL).
If you aim an RPG - through the scope - at a 'tagged' vehicle and wait a second or 2 babbageil the aiming reticle displays...
I clocked up about 11 or 12 hours, so far :o
Every time I wanted to stop, something cool happens that makes me want to keep going  So many 'jaw-on-the-floor' moments...
My stats: :o

Gally:
Fire in short bursts. Recoil is much more obvious in BC2 than in MW2.
Failing that, try HARDCORE mode. But stay hidden, it's F*CKING intense...
MW2's engine is based on the old Doom 3 engine. It's performed admirably until now, but IMO, by using 8 year-old foundations - IW are hamstrung from the off.
FWIW, DICE are working on the multiplayer component of the new MoH game. Interesting...
It's the PP2000.
It's crap. :(
AT Mines are under-rated. Laying them 'round an objective and having the explosives upgrade (allows you to carry 6 instead of 3) is amazing. You can sit, waiting for personnel to walk near them and shoot the mines.
BOOOOOOM!
:)
