Lovely car and a great write up - will make a good resource, come sale time! :)
I was under the impression the Sachs units fitted to your car were track-oriented? :S
Spend 5.5 hours on it this weekend and I'm 23% Synched :S Bloody meaty game! VERY VERY similar to GTA IV, so far...
Was a bit disappointed with the slow start and the fact the game assumes you've played the first AC. Case in point: Race your brother to the top of that church! WTF? I've just...
The mounts should have cured it! You sure your drive shafts are ok? I understand these can cause a knocking noise on full lock?
From personal experience, the washer 'fix' didn't cure my n/s strut occasionally making a small clunk when pulling away and I have new driveshafts. :(
Still, it only...
**** Awesome Deal Alert! ****

Odd that the game on its own is £37, but bundled with an unrelated Blu-Ray is £29!!
On it's own, TDK is £15 - something that could still be sold on ebay for £10+! Odd...
Paradas are sh!te in the Winter but as stated, awesome in the dry.
I've been nothing but impressed with PE2's in this weather (I normally fit T1-R's or GSD3's).
Good good! :)
Thanks everyone for the replies.
Re: DS2500's being corrosive - I was merely paraphrasing a number of replies read on here. Apologies if I'm incorrect!
For my needs (3 trackdays per year and SDP driving) DS2500 pads aren't worth the extra £40-50 over the Yellowstuff or 1144's...
...The one thing holding me back is:
Does the dust from these eat into powder coating?
I've heard DS2500's ruin wheels and these have similar performance but cost less.
If they do, can you guys reccommend any upgraded pads that are kind to powder coating?
I'm in the process of having my...
I really like Zaino Bros. products - Personally, I have never seen any product give as deep 'wet look' as Zaino. It lasts AGES (less is more...) too.
I bought some in the US a few years ago and couldn't face Advanced Car Products prices when they eventually ran out...
EDIT: Zaino Europe prices...
Re: RenaultSport Clios - great on the right road, rubbish the rest of the time. Discu
Seriously? People are buying a 1*2 and expecting it to be refined?
HAHAHAHAHA.
It's a great-handling cheapo car FFS. Want refinement in the same price bracket? Buy a significantly older German car. But I...
A lot of my petrolhead mates who've been in my Clio don't appear too bothered (probably because they drive REALLY fast cars).
Though the wife thinks I drive like a nutter and thinks most cars are fast... :)
Re: RenaultSport Clios - great on the right road, rubbish the rest of the time. Discu
Fortunately - and I realise this isn't wholly constructive - I've never had any of the problems you've had!?!
Aside from a sligtly rattly glovebox since I added a poly-bushed dogbone mount - which, for the...
Then surely it's a minter? :clown:
If it has a full history and nothing seems out of place AND you have grilled the previous owner(s) - What more info could you possibly hope for? :S
"The previous owners never changed the oil and drove it like c*nts from cold - IIRC, it was used in a ram raid...
This isn't an answer, more a question:
If K-Tec's site lists one system for both ph1 and ph2 models, it's fair to assume they are the same. I mean, it's not as if K-Tec's system uses a different routing, is it?
I may be wrong though...
Black Circles have them mail order for £83.15 per corner for 195 45 R16 V
eTyres - £96.50
MyTyres - £89.61
Camskill - £80.97
When you take into account these will need fitting (£10+ per corner) Doesn't seem like a bad deal!!
^ What he said about FMJ.
Re: The FAMAS - *definitely* needs Stopping Power on anything other than Hardcore.
Loving the TAR-21 and Scar for 'General Purpose' and the Vector or P90 with Rapid Fire, Scavenger, Stopping Power and Ninja for CQB.
Because the Scar and TAR-21 are powerful and...
