it's simples to swap over. take the wheel surround off then two torx holding the stalk on(torx 8 i think!!) no need to take the steering wheel off. to check the motor just shove 2 wires in the connectors and connect striaght to the battery if it whines it works:)

thats off the older clio's(MK1) try getting one off someone breaking a car on here.

hi fellas my drivers seat runner is very stiff if im putting something in the back of my car. i've tried wd40 and digger lube but that only stays working for a day or so. any ideas?

ph2 you have to remove the bumper ph1 2 screws hold in the fogs

mine was the exact same:( just take off the door cart and spray wd40 into the centrel locking motor

does the seat still move forward and backwards?

hi fella's on my ph1 172 the last owner made a shite job of cutting the poor bumper for the exaust. i'm just wondering if i got another bumper would i need to cut it? its a magnex backbox thanks:)

the ph1 accelerator is different then ph2 172/182 as the ph1 is cable while the ph2 are electric. i'm pretty sure the brake and clutch are the same do:)

theres a GOOD few on here well over the 100K mark and running fine

hi fellas going fitting Lamin-X film on my ph1 fogs tomorrow. can you take the glass off the fogs ? or do you just lay the film on the fog and cut around after? thanks:)

Re: The PH1 172 Aprreciation Thread. OZ made the 15" rims for the ph1 clio but they made a 16" version aswell but it had nothig to do with a renault/clio

the mileage wont go up as the speedo isn't working. the speedo might be a unrelated problem. what year is your ph2?? early ones had this type of speedo on top of the gearbox.they often go so check do you have this...

no not a straight swap. you need to find someone to recode the ecu for you or if you want to do it yourself you need to buy ecu,barrel,uch,key

What model of a Clio have you? Is it a mk2 ph1 with single bulb for the dims and the fulls?
