It not too difficult to fit the pump but just be very careful when removing the flexis and you can reuse them.
Good stuff Wayne, should feel rapid with that torque and power. It made 9bhp more than it did with me and a lot more torque. What fuel pump were you using? Did you fit the walbro one?
195 or 205 will work fine on the car. 195's were the OE fitment on a cup but 182's had 205's so both will work.
I found the 205's slightly more forgiving on the road due to the slightly larger side wall and larger contact width but there is not a lot in it. 195's are a bit cheaper too.

That should be a flexible joint with exhaust packing. It is to allow the joint to move on the 172 decat or cat section and prevent cracking of the down pipe.
If you've rebuilt cossie and zetec engines then you'll be able to change a dephaser and belt on these engines. It is advisable (very) to use the correct locking tools and be very familiar with the procedure before doing it.
Most specialists will be under £400 for a belt change but another £170...
Both cam pulleys now sorted and fitted to the engine. Should give +/- 8deg of timing so we'll have a play and see what works best with the setup. The exhaust pulley needed modified slightly and uses shorter headed cap screws to clear the cover but all fits now with a couple of mm spare. Need to...

Cams, ITB's and rod bolts for a little more power and keeping reliability and boost it for more power again. If you go high boost then you'll need a forged bottom end ideally and the cost really do mount up. I know! lol
