Has anyone used these? I'm feeling the need to be able to get closer to my subject using the fifty, thought one of these would be ideal. Would the linked one be ok for £6, or is it likely to be cheap tat?

Was down at the local indoor kart track today, tried taking some normal shots, only had the 50mm with me and didn't get anything useful, not enough light/zoom/focus, so decided to have a play around. Got a few that looked a bit cer-azy, but I like them :). Taken around about 1/10s, f2.8, iso800 :)
This is what happens when you let teenagers play with big cars. (And when it rains on cars with slicks.) No injuries. The onboard view shows the best footage.

After the postal strike and an annoying wait, the 'nifty fifty' has arrived. Quick play this afternoon, takes a fair bit more concentration to be framing correctly as well as focussing correctly, but will get there soon!
The cat was on top of the table, so in a good place for experimentation...
Turned the car on today, had been standing for about 24 hours, revved engine to about 2500rpm, took foot off and it carried on to about 3k stayed there for about 5 seconds, then went back to idle. Turned it off and tried to do it again but couldn't.
Did it just have a spazz moment or is this a...
Now the demo's been out for 24hrs+ and you've all got used to it, here's the chance to prove your ability.
Porsche.
No aids on at all. If you want to use manual with clutch, feel free, otherwise manual only. If you really can't not use ABS, then post up that you've used it. If you use a...
So, my current hard drive is on it's way out. Windows 7 has been released. Perfect timing.
Is it worth getting a Solid State Drive at this point bearing in mind the cost is much more substantial than a standard SATA drive. I'd be using it primarily as my OS boot drive and for a certain few...
....not. This was apparently at 115mph, but the car was so light it just skimmed across the gravel trap. Shown in slow-mo, then at full speed. Lucky to walk away imo.

Anyone tracked / done engine work to a 1.4 16v? I want to hear from you. Especially if you have bhp/lbft figures from a RR.
Or a 1.6 8v, but more interested in the 1.4 16v.
I regularly find myself with a full boot on a dark night when camping somewhere and not being able to find what I want. Was thinking about putting in some brighter "non-chav" boot lighting, like these...
I think I'm getting better at it.

Saw this tiny little man, comedy small driving round near Lymm in a Red RS Twingo. Mint looking car, mint looking bird in the passenger seat, but the midget driver looked a right c**t.
Was down at this to see my mate Pip in Stock Hatch. He set fifth fastest qualifying time, won the heat and came 7th in the final, punching well above the car's weight, beating much faster cars and drivers.
Chris popped along with his C***n SLR too.
Someone got crossed up...
