Having been in the industry for over 9 years and owned both cards - the 480 is better
5870/5890 are by no means bad - infact much improved over the 4800 series but it's been a long time coming - powerplay works now (just).
Plus I'm not really a massive fan of multiGPU cards. It's hit and miss...
don't bother, it's a waste of time - uses the chrome 4 engine and looks quite pretty but the AI and animation is horrific. for a rail shooter it's about as well put together as a Clio
I'd get the 480 GTX over the 5970. ATi drivers are still shocking - although the benchmarks don't show it, the 480 is a helllishly better card.
I've got a x965 Extreme here if you're interested ;)
another 700 quid? Where were you looking lol
they don't bother me, I was just saying
I don't see the fascination with buying a re branded ecu just so you can look at how many miles you've done to a tank - that's what your brains for.
tbh
why?
Golden Eye was good on N64, that's where it should stay. Control system played a large part and it was brilliant for the era. I'd much prefer just playing the original again
Just another cash can

As far as her car goes, you will be hard pushed to find a cleaner and better looked after one!
:)
here is an idea for you, previous owner replaced the standard system cat back on mine 2 years ago - when I bought the car the back box had rusted itself off
What cams are you using mate?
standard valves with uprated springs? ...
with 422s K-tec were trying to use (I scrapped it) nimonic valves which use a strengthened alloy. Which I'm pretty sure is totally unnecessary on f4r
Looks brilliant mate
