just dont paint the rear drums (if you got em) a funny colour...... I had mine redone black the other day when I had a puncture, just to "clean" em up.

only like painted calipers when they are red and say "Porsche" on them :)

it just seems such a thing with removing the door cards, little clips that WILL break...then dont know if the guys here can really paint the things properly, I see too many cars here with paint flaking off bumpers etc.

viceroy, Im by the mountain and the ocean broer, like shoo wah ! can get it done for about R500 + VAT to remove and spray but Im too cheap for that ;) actually want to get some used handles and have them done and fit myself and have the oem ones spare.

is it a big job ? (as in can I do it ??) want to code the handles, but spray shop want so much to remove and refit (more than than the spray !) cheers in adv.

viceroy: dont really think so, too many middlemen last time, get some silver vision type globes and some for the head lamp indicators as well while youre at it. If memory serves I paid about R390 something incl. globes.

mk2 phase1 ?? if that makes sense, full red tail lights. loving it. just curious, as i was looking at a tyre site the other day and they had all sorts of sizes I never heard of like 185/50 14s or 195/40 15s.

so what do you have ?...Im on 14s (185/60) and proud :oops:

yeah, I think the wiring is set up for the phase 2 lights, so you gotta fiddle with them as if youre putting on phase 2 lights on a phase 1.

I think they only suit a silver car. :(

you should switch your plates around then sometime 4 some fun........lol
