quick question: howcome i the UK you got to have a yello plate in the rear and white up front ? Mine are both white and I could have both yellow if it tickled my fancy

a bit off topic, but I would like some full red lights like mk2 phase 1 (is that what were calling them this week) but to be "shiny" like the phase 2 ones, withought the clear bit in the middle.......know what I mean ?

why do we find so few alternatives for clio rear lights (172 style) ? To be honest I like my full red ones, but it just seems all these other makes get stacks to choose from, not just lexus type......?

just phoned around for some prices on having my door handles colour coded, but they want a fortune to remove and refit them, can I do that myself ? I presume there are clips and things holding it in place, will they still fit snug again afterwards ?

Im gonna hijack this thread a little....... should I colour code my door hndles, the bump strip and tops of bumber are not coded, and dont really want to, but feel the door handles should match. should I do it or leave them black to match the rest, car is "lizuli" blue, bit lighter than monoco.

bought the car new in jan 2002 (from Auto xtra in Pretoria) and then took a short drive to CT ! so how long will they replace things for me ?

Ive had my 1600 16V clio for 20 months now (done 41000 kms) from new. thanks to renaults warranty, Ive had the cam belt replaced, the starter motor replaced, battery replaced, right rear wheel bearing, and now in the last 2 weeks had the coil (?) sorted out twice (car was misfiring)...

that reminds me to pay my fine, caught while traveling on holiday doing a measley 73km(45m) in a 60km (37.5m) zone, pisses me off. :(

these cars have become some what of an interest to me since I only heard about them a short while back, havent seen too many of them, so if you could post some that would be awesome, cheers.

thanks jonesy, viceroy, as fas as I know the skirts from the 172, wont fit cos of the front fenders are shaped differently and the skirts fit "into" the fender at the bottom (does that make sense?) do you know of anyplaces here in SA that could help ?

anyone know of some side skirts that look like the mk1 172s but that can fit on a non 172 model ?

Im a fraid to say that I actaully have a tow bar on my clio.....no ball, just a bike carrier mount, looks ugly as sh|t, took me a year to decide to put it on, but didnt want to ruin the interior with a muddy mountain bike anymore.

at last have done something to my 1600 Clio, clear indicators ! after reading around the forum, its seems the oem ones from Renault are the best fit etc. (except price). They wanted over R500 here in South Africa (w/out globes), thats about 41 quid !! anyway got sorted with a contact for a staff...

didnt really think about that, but is it a pin type or adhesive backed ?
