brings back memories, i had my clio on exactly the same alloys, but i crashed it just b4 christmas, still got the alloys and stuff tho. just waiting to buy another car.
Looks decent, get it lowered and perhaps colour code or find correctly coloured RT bumpers.
It wasnt on last night however there was this half hour prog with richard hammond and james may presenting then jeremy clarkson taking part in different car related tasks along with a number of other petrol head celebrities, with a winner at the end.
My rev counter didnt work, so i never knew lol
Might be getting a burgundy clio 1.4 RT phase2 with 39k miles being sold on ebay, only prob is its in bracknell, so thats a flight to heathrow. anyway means ill have 400 miles to see what revs i get :S
Cya round

Hi happy bday again (read bday thread)
On a lower note, ive just read this thread about someone taking your spoiler off. i cant believe this, just a week after the vandalisation. You also havnt pissed anyone off. Just isnt right! Have you had the boot door repaired yet?
Keep a look out on...
Will find good prices for parts at http://www.gsfcarparts.comwww.gsfcarparts.com
I have an interior light going, one of the spares im selling after stacking my clio mk1 :(
tho its probly just a bulb
1. Aston martin DB9
2. Mitsibushi Evo lancer 8 FQ 400
3. Nissan skyline R34 ( highly tuned )
4. Renault clio Williams ( specialy built by renault :D )
5. Porsche carrera GT
6. Toyota Supra 3L twin turbo ( fitted with NOS hehe )
7. mclaren SLR (just for the performance, not keen on...
Hey mark, that is f*cking sh*t. I cant believe it. Thats gonna cost bit :(
I really cant understand people that would do that, my m8 had his car parked outside my house for a party and had a dent put in his boot, he was well worried when he saw it seeing as it was his mums car and he didnt...
Hi, scanned these in, made them a decent size to view but the text is kinda small, best idea is to save the pages then increase size slightly.
go to link this link and there are the 4 pages, 1st page isnt really required but thought id put it there anyway. sorry for any stupid adverts its...
how does this effect steering lock, u need the key to be turned for steering lock to be dis engaged. even when i unplugged my ignition barrel i had to turn the key to get steering wheel lock off, must be done mechanically not electrically.
ive got steps on how to make a push button ignition in...
Riiiight, well it must be a good job cos it just looks like a normal bumper, would be slightly more interesting if we had a damage picture to see difference :p
yeah sounds pretty crap actually, i wouldnt like anything where they are actualy tracking you, i bet they could will come bak at a young driver who makes a claim saying they were able totell he was speeding when he crash etc.
Also doesnt sound like it is that cheap.
what phase is your clio, the phase 1 and 2 was 80bhp, but the phase 3 is 75bhp, either way ull beat hime cos clio 75bhp vs the weight of a 75bhp 206 doesnt equalize, if u got a 80bhp RT ull beat him nicly then with exhaust, maybe a de-cat ull whip his ass.
I had a similar problem. right problem connecting inputs unless u have an aux in and not that many HUs have them.
heres the solutiong to my problem http://www.renaultsportsclub.co.uk/forum_3403/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=27582http://www.renaultsportsclub.co.uk/forum_3403/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=27582
btw...
How much would it cost for an RT, a lot more room in the engine etc, just think ill get mine done while my car has its MOT in jan. didnt realise it was that much for a 16v.
got some pics of ur cars interior and the seats. sounds like it would be smart with the cobras retrimmed with leather similar blue to the clio interior.
Quite sad. arguing which phase of valver is better when it was simply a guy after advice on a valver he wanted to get. doesnt matter what phase it was.
Shame to hear the AA thought it wasnt worth it. Keep looking, there is quite a few valvers being sold. I dunno if the winter is the best time...
Well im not gonna pretend i know about valvers cos i dont. Never driven one. I have a 1.4 RT a little way off from a 16v but anyway, my gear stick moves as i accelerate, just the torque on the gear (i think).
oil temp guage half way sounds allright, see what others say.
As for the kick with...
While i was learning i was searching for a car i liked the look of, and then took that car and did a quote online to find which was lowest. Came to the conclusion my 1.4 RT was probly the cheapest 1.4 to insure and the best looking i could find. I then found the specs were pretty good.
So...
Hows this sound (no pun intended) make directional pods for 6x9s moulded into a custom parcel shelf. Doubt any pressure from my sub in the boot would be pressing against the 6x9s cones. This way the 6x9s could give loud mid and high pitch with the Sub giving the bass.
Might be a bit of work...
Oh B***ox im just setting up my sound system, and have got my sub amped in the back, and i just recieved replacment speakers today still to install, basically replacment door, dashboard and rear speakers.
Sounds good atm with the sub but should be a lot better with uprated speakers. Thing is...
Hi mark, yeah i saw that too on the history of clio, but im pretty sure ur right. I read that the mk1 ph1/2 were 80bhp then downgraded to 75 in the ph3. Its in most specs tho there does seem to be conflicting figures sometimes. I scanned this from the clio modding book i happen to have...
sounds like a nice first car, ive got a clio mk1 1.4 RT, i like it loads and its quite nippy for my first.
i feel worried for a m8 of mine whos getting a 150bhp valver for his first car.
hes in full time work and supposadly can afford it at 17
Well youve got holes for 13cm speakers, the only way is to take the door card off measure a 17cm circle and cut around it. No other way really. And ud have to make sure they were secured to the door, cant just screw them onto the door card, they will flap all over the place.
Make sure you...
