So you removed the big massive plasic dash section? If so then when removing the 3 bolts on the top/back under the windscreen you will have undone the earths. Make sure in the middle/left/right where the main dash screws to the main dash beam that these have earths connected.

IMO cup spoiler is better but each to their own. When you're spending that much on a brand new car you want it to be perfect.

Clowns put a GT spoiler when I spec'd cup. I told them bootlids were different but they didn't believe me. Then they decided they were going to fit a bootlid from a 1.2 iMusic and then bolt the cup spoiler on so I said no and got a Storm Grey one from stock :).

You don't need the cup spoiler or other bits to have cup suspension. As Fred says with the chassis number, yours has cup suspension.
