Front bumper has to come off as Pretender mentioned in previous post.The 2 grille sections are part of the plastic panel u see when u open the bonnet.With the bumper off it just unclips.

It sounds like the place u had it fitted at is just using the fact that its lowered as an excuse 4 their poor workmanship. Lowering it shoudnt make a lot of diff as exhaust is fitted to the body not the susp.

Dont know where u got your prices from, cos they r way out! The headlamp washer blanking covers retail at about £50 4 a start. The top grille is about £175! Total price, retail is about £1200 inc. arch liners etc. See Pretenders car on a previous thread 4 pics.

with 17s & 205/40x17 tyres the rolling radius is about the same as the standard 15 in. wheels, so the speedo reads about the same.

They do do them as Pretender has got one on his car .

Behind the bumper is a deflector which directs the air to the rad. This is fixed to the bottom of the bumper by 4 pop rivets & to the subframe by 2 10 mm bolts, u will have to remove this to gain access.

The ariels on older clios dont all unscrew, it sounds like yours is one of those.

That part of the dash dosnt come off, its fixed from behind. If u take the radio out and the cupholder and the piece of trim above it u can then get up behind there 2 a certain degree.

Get a pipercross & a k-tec relocation kit. This puts the filter just behind the grille in the cold air flow. Slight increase in performance, throttle response is better and induction roar on full throttle.
