I'm meeting a few others at spangles at 5.30ish to quickly wash my car before heading down. In case you don't know where that is, cross over scotswood bridge, going left over the bridge, then right at the roundabout :)
I've got nankangs stretched on my wheels, hard compound so last well, everyone I know that's ran them have said they've lasted longer than anything else.
People say they're bad in the rain, but I've had no issues in the wet with mine, just don't drive like a fool and they're fine.
Ill leave work at 4, quick wipe down, come to mine when you finish work? Then well go meet tooke somewhere cos he lives on the way.
Lewis will probably meet us there cos he lives over sacriston.
Why be a sheep? Car shows would be a lot more boring if it was just The likes of VW.
In the northeast I only know of one other mk3 that's been done which is a big reason why I like my car, because its different.
I disagree, IMO, 17s look too big for a mk3 so I opted for 16s with a reasonable sized tyre to fill the arch a bit more.
Although the camera trickery makes it look low, it's only about 70 on rear and 60mm on front.
I chose the wheels because I liked them, thought they were a good size/fitment...
Cheers bud :) got so much more planned but uncertain whether to good ahead cos either April time when insurance is up or after show season it will be more than likely for sale.
Stance is more than just lows and wide. It's about the right wheels, the right fitment the right ride height etc.
Also, ekaJ nice wheels... Look familiar ;)
My clio, a slammed lupo, s6 Quattro, r35 gtr, prodrive impreza... Then regular things but mostly quite new, 12 plate fiesta, few Corsa c's, mk2 ka, some Hyundai Eco thing etc.
