Yep, oe Renault bearings, and the hub nuts were torqued to the correct figures. The noise is exactly as it was before. Danman - The tracking has all been checked/set. Let me know how you get on though :)

Really? I've never been in one that's as noisy as this! I have to turn the stereo right up to drown it out! It didn't do it when I got the car, and the tyres haven't worn down much.

I find with T1-R's, it depends a lot on the car. I had them on my old 5gtt years ago, and they were awesome. I then bought some for my old Escort gti runaround, and they were worse than driving on ice, and only lasted a few k miles.
