Anyone help with a Twingo 133 misfire?

Yea they are not too bad. We are picking up 2 Delphi coil pack pencils to try first and not getting the plugs. If the coil pack pencils don't solve the misfire then we will get the spark plugs too

Anyone help with a Twingo 133 misfire?

I think coil pencil are £50 each for genuine! Euros have some for £20 each with the sale code, obviously non genuine though. Surely they will still work? Do you think the spark plugs need to be changed also?

Anyone help with a Twingo 133 misfire?

What do you mean by separately mate? They were unplugged one at a time. Both 2 & 3 do the same thing when both plugged separately.

Anyone help with a Twingo 133 misfire?

Not sure how to work out what this means, but i have just done as you have said and found the following. Coil 1&4 when unplugged make the car sound like its going to stall. Coil 2&3 when unplugged make it go quieter but doesnt make it sound as bad as when coil 1&4 are unplugged. Deffinately...

Anyone help with a Twingo 133 misfire?

Yes mate already had my head in the bay a few times looking at it as though i know what I'm looking for lol. Coil pencils all in place. I have already removed 1&4 as i know there is a common issue with water ingress on them, but they both looked fine and no signs of any water / rust. Im sure...

Anyone help with a Twingo 133 misfire?

Thanks mate. One more silly question. Would you remove the full coil or just unplug the conection to it? And i take it, after each one, i need to actually turn the engine off and start it up again?

Anyone help with a Twingo 133 misfire?

Hi all, I know I'm in the clio section but im trying to help my younger brother out with his twingo 133 and the twingo forum is shocking compared to cs. The car sounds like an impreza, stinks of fuel and struggling to reach 30mph without sounding like its going to blow up. Plugged it into my...

2 pannels in with the da - am I doing it right?

Yea, its got really bad. Its been at a point for a long time now where it needed a da so i have thought it was pointless to even bother polishing by hand. It looked like it had no protection on it at all the way the water was lying on it. Will be sorted once i have finished with the da. The...

    Austin’s Clio dci 100 Initiale

I went for a look round the scrap yard while one of the cars was getting mot’d and spotted a non sport with a sport grill on it. I gave the bloke £10 for it, along with 2 sets of dash strips. It was going to go on with the rest of the spare parts i have built up for the 182 but thought I might...

2 pannels in with the da - am I doing it right?

Also what rpm do people suggest? Im not sure how it works, obviously i know the higher the speed the faster the pad goes but it there a standard speed you should stick at? I have been sticking to 4k for the above pictures.

2 pannels in with the da - am I doing it right?

Had a go on the BG today. Question i have is when polishing, do you keep going with the machine until paint is clear of polish or do you stop when there is still a haze and them buff it off with a microfibre? I have left a haze and wiped away with a microfibre everytime so far. Some...

Clio DCi Project ''Blue'' by Mihael

Nice one Mikey. Looks like the Initiale Paris model as it has the xenons which didn't cone on any of the other dci models, but it doesnt have the Initiale interior. I can see it has a/c, is it the Dci 100 engine?

2 pannels in with the da - am I doing it right?

I got the machine brand new for £65 and the pads and compound were £50 so not as much as £200. Worth it either way though and you can always use it on any car you get.

    Austin’s Clio dci 100 Initiale

No idea mate but assume Ryan below is right. I forgot to mention in the post, but when the cam cover came off it was worn down with bits of plastic coming off so it looked like the belt had maybe been rubbing on it. Not sure if that coud have caused it? Whatever it was, I know that clouting it...
