yeah, i like it.. you can get bonnets cheap on ebay, so you could always spray it and then sell it on if it looks awful

there's a black 172 near me with a white bonnet..will try and get a pic if i see it tomorrow

exactly, to bolt sidemounts straight to floor you need to drill new holes ( PM russ@gasperformance as he has done this) where as subframes use the standard holes from the standard seat

also for 3 point harnesses you can bolt the rear mounting point here :

as they are steel framed, they are quite uncomfortable IMO

you can thread the belt through bucket seats ! I did it for about a year !you just undo the bar at the bottom of the B-pillar where the seatbelt is bolted to, thread the belt through the side hole in the bucket seat and then reattach the belt to the bar. ( it will look like this ) To...

for the price they are okay but they are definately not the best seats out there !

has no pretensioner, so easily bolts onto aftermarket subframe

i used a standard belt with my harness for a while, i just got ride of the pretensioner/standard anchor and used a buckle like this...
