Well it'd produce higher res photos which is always a benefit, other than that there's not a lot in it as I don't care to much for the video function. Thanks for the advice, what mode on a Cannon is the shooter aperture/shutter priority? Is it the AV TV or P mode?

Yeah apart from Yozza, nothing changed. Rather pleased with that even if it's not 100% it gives me a rough idea.
