It's a possibly but im betting its warped discs tbh mate... If the wheels weren't balanced then you would have the vibration/wobble pretty much constantly especially at higher speeds, Warped discs however will cause the steering to vibrate/wobble under braking so my bets there with the issue...
Im not too far from Gatwick either, If i had the money i'd be interested as its something i wanted to do with my 182 but then traded in for a 197... Would have loved to see this in action tbh... Good luck with the sale Lego and i'll spread the word for you mate if i hear of anything i'll P.M you..
I know was just making a simple point that K-Tec want £6100 for the 300bhp kit.. This car has all the work done bar needing a new head and the asking price is 6.5k.. Damn good i think
Look at the asking price for the blown up car though 6.5K.. thats a lot of car for that money plus it only needs a new head.. IMO well worth the money, If i had the cash i'd buy it and repair it... The whole conversion comes in at 6k alone
I agree that over mileage the engine will loosen a little. My 197 felt tight at 10k, I've had it 5 months and put 5k on it so at 15k it feels better... My best mate and house mate is a mechanic for PCV's HGV's and stuff but he's bang on the spot with cars too... He has a Scooby and has driven...
Defo remove the ugly black bumper bit...
I wouldn't touch it engine wise.. you'll gain nothing from a filter or IK
And me personally i wouldnt map it until its gone through its warranty phase
Where in London are you based mate ? I live in South London but work in Central London... If you want drop me a P.M and we can arrange to meet.... I'll bung them on for you then you'll be safe... I'll do it for free so dont worry about money.. I'd rather do it for you than you doing it yourself...
If you got the wheels with brand new tyres on them the likelihood is that they have already been pumped up to the correct PSI..
Dude not being funny but putting wheels on a car is very simple... If your that unsure go to a garage...
1 tip for you.. Once you have bolted the wheels on make...
Wrong section btw
I'm on O2 too and i've been having a prob with my Texts lately... People saying they have text me but never arrived then a day later or so it turns up... My bet is its with your GF's phone. O2 can be pretty sh*te at times
