yeah pics are massive sorry. did it with a kit from halfords. spent a fair bit on the cleaners though. needed a good clean. was gonna do it with hammerite but no yellow left in b and q. was swaying towards red but happy with the yellow. yeah engine bay took a good hour to do. needed a couple coats.

here are a few pics of a hards days work. spent today painting my calipers yellow. 4 coats and 6 hrs later this is the result also some pics of it looking at its clean best lol. also decided to put some detail into the engine bay too. :o

Paint is imo in excellent condition. few road chips and light scratches but nothing too major. my mate was saying to me agout some carnuaba wax for a finishing wax. is there any you would recommend? also looking for a really good tyre shine.

Hey. i am gearing myself up to give my 172 cup its first full cleaning service since i bought it a couple weeks ago this friday. jus wondering what are the best products etc to use. also the car has a leather/suede seat upgrade so was wondering if there are any products out there to get that...

Yeah its out of warranty. Jus a pain in the @rse. Sooner i get the seats out the better. Wanting to strip it. Not a fan of leather that much anyway. Cheers for ur help.

Anyone know roughly how much it would be to get the cable fixed in my drivers side seat. The cable on the handle for moving the chair forward to let some1 in the back. Some snapped it :mad: . Thanks

:eek: Hey wondering if any1 can help me. Got my 172 cup bout a week ago. Everytime i start it there is a squeling sound coming from engine. Is this likely to just be the fan belt? It has done 47k so could this be something a little more serious? Cheers

I am justinrt's mate and yes admiral quoted me £1250 on my 172 cup. Only 19 with 1 yrs no claims. Dont think can get better than that? That woz the price over the net. Was gonna be almost £1500 over the phone.

Southampton is only down the road! lol. Ah well no bother. Will jus have to keep trying.
