Got a friendly flash from a Clio 172 owner, driving a dark blue (can't recall the exact colour) with silver tail lights! :D I was driving my gf's racing blue/gordini striped 182 at the time. Would have responded but went passed before I managed to!! lol

I believe this was a company's car. Was featured in Max Power, engine bay looks very impressive. It is as tuned up as it says as well. Could see that from the 4 cone filters at the front of the engine bay!! :D

Bloody typical, I put in on ClioSport and you lot don't like it hahahaha. It does look a lot smoother, besides you couldn't clean round the badge properly and was annoying.

My point exactly!!! I looked at those Z4s when I heard she was buying one and thought 'Why did she bother with the 2.0ltr???'. The 2.5 is much better, anyway back to the stripes..........................

Deb you're totally right!!! People do say things when they don't know what they mean. Some bint in my missus office goes 'oooh look go faster stripes'!! So my gf explained but it doesn't go in lol, this does come from the owner of a Z4 2.0ltr so I'd treat her opinions with extreme suspicion.

All Renaults in the UK will have 3 years on em, but as far as a I know you'd have to tell your dealership and they'll make sure it has a full warranty. Otherwise they try and make out that it only has 2 years.

With regard to the original post, people always underestimate the RenaultSport Clios, IMO thats part of the appeal!! :D When I had my 172 I had all sorts of comments from people I worked with, one guy in his Audo A3 just wouldn't accept the performance figures of a 172 compared to his 1.8T...

That is pretty good, I remember trying to get the MPG of my 172 up and by driving like a complete girl I managed 42mpg round town. That was on the way to work which was mainly stop start as well haha. It can be done but it takes a conscious effort to get the MPG reading something like that...

It could be a lot worse, you could sell the 182, get married then she declairs a sex change and you'll have no car and then no way of getting ya nuts up!!!! Perhaps unlikely but not impossible.

Racing blue, Inferno or Liquid Yellow would be my ideal choices but not that easy to come by. My missus has racing blue and it really does stand out, gotta see it in the flesh as pics don't do it justice.

Knowing some of the people she works with they probably don't give a sh!t!! I used to work for the same company last year. She had an e-mail sent round the company but no one saw or knew anything. Just one of those crappy events where you have to just get on with it! :(
