40mm you would notice but wouldnt really be low enough to be honest, you might find you want it lower as soon as you do it. it will probably be worse ride comfort if you get cheap springs. i would advise getting some second hand coilovers or something.
dont really think the spoiler suits a 5...
me and dweeb have had this exact conversation a number of times i swear lol. yeah get some coilies, second hand on ebay or cheap new ones all work out about the same price
well the alpine ones i got, i got them because they are not bassy but they have a very good crisp and clear sound. i didnt want bassy speakers because of the sub and everything i didnt need it. for £45 you really cant go wrong, you could splash out on more expensive speakers or different ones...
those alpine ones seem slightly over priced for what they are, but thats just my opinion. are you running a standard headunit ? sub amp etc ? whats your current set up
coilovers. deffinatly mate, best decision i ever made
get some second hand decent ones of ebay, i got mine for £200 and decent springs are like £130 anyway
no worries mate, i see you live in devon. in bridport theres a shop called TopGear that have loads of alloys, i got mine from them...might be worth a look http://www.topgear.co.uk/
often the cables wear down and eventually brake or some crap and then this happens. you can cut and crimp if thats happened. or as above ^^
tbh i just left it for ages, then got new seats and now there not even plugged in at all
http://www.alloywheels.com/
put your car in on there and it will tell you what fits and the fitments for it. be aware of crap brands as they dont last very long, best bet is to save and get good alloys. oh and dont get anything bigger than 16
but yeah from what everyone who has bought them has said, they are a good investment and no ones really got anything bad to say for the price. they seem like a really good deal, i was going to get them until i stumbled across the second hand AP ones for £40 more
i honestly couldnt say but ive heard no stories of them lasting really short periods of time. i would of thought youd get 2 years out of them or so. and for £160 your laughing really, some people spend hundreds on stuff like GAZ to have them break quickly.
dweeb will prob reply in a mo with how...
they will go lower than you need ;) there perfect for height as dweeb said, just the ride inst the best. have a pretty good life span for the money i would have thought, how long have you had yours dweeb?
and how adjustable are they ?
raceland and rokkor coilovers are the same thing from whats been said on here before. they are not the best, however for the money no one ever moans. apparently the ride is a bit harsh but they lower brilliantly and are comfier than some springs.
as for the second ones i have never heard of...
its all good fun :approve: you'll get obsessed with looking, which is probably good cause that when you find the good deals. im attempting to get some work done but if i get bored (which i will) ill have a quick look around as well
