Ferodo DS2500 pads and Brembo HC discs should do the trick over the standard issue. Got mines fitted with these.
Perhaps your pads need some deglazing too...
Never seen mines work either...
In either case; the rules for carrying washer with xenons is b.s. if you ask me.
I see chumps blinding me with those 'white' bulbs in their 'Fast and Furious cars'.
As to running 4500K Halogen bulbs to look like xenons or HID's.
Good oil is never cheap...
I used Millers mineral oil when i still had a 'classic' Mini Cooper 1.3Mpi.
But i guess you will go for the full synthetic? Different engine, different motoring.
JME i meant do we change these also for a compl. 'white' outshine?
Personally i can't be bothered... the light stalk is on 'auto' and i've never use my foglights.
It's full synthetic...
On a high revving or should i say free revving engine like the F4R in ours it's better in reducing friction then semi.
Full synthetic doesn't 'clean' that well, but i'd opt for full and frequent changes then semi!
Semi is also used in engines which are to be 'breaking'...
There's no need for that especially with Metallic!
In most cases a two-stage paintjob, consist of a base-coat to be followed by a clearcoat. (the clear obviously for protection and shine!)

So having a RS sitting all pretty but your not allowed to drive it yet for 2 months... sounds like a waiting game to me.
Ooh yeah that Glacier White looks stunning...
The 197 has grown to me... still love my 172 to pieces.
You stand correct with 200, new facing won't help the overall looks.
But hey now it's got a 'family' face. Like all Vee dubs look the same upfront.
I reckon' it falls out of the UK quota...
Native as to Lhd indeed.
I originally wanted a Black RS2... but that color hides the roundings of the shell.
And Blue is so common.
Still Sunflower Yellow is thé Renault Sport color.
Blue is for Gordini.
Because he can... LOL
No serious, point taken... it's a Renault Sport; why mess with it?
But hey each to his own.
If you want a K&N filter perse, why not get that cold-air induction kit?
(as to heat shielding it)
