Purely on a looks basis Id say go for the mk 2 dynamique.

There was a feature about this on Top Gear last year. Basically they got a guy from an official dealership to admit that the only reason they wont offer you as much on an import is, like GR said, sour grapes.

Looks nice from the front, but it all goes horribly wrong when you see the back. Looks a bit like a drawing of a car you do when youre at primary school. :confused:

If ive been thrashing my 172 I often get a tinny rattle when I pull up, maybe the same thing. Dont know why it is though Im afraid.

In my service book everytime theres a mention of the 6000 mile service, there is a note at the bottom of the page saying it applys to all cars except the 2.0 16v (and a couple of others). However, there have been posts on here saying Renault have recently scrapped the 6000 mile check anyway...

If have to say that its a shame saxos have gone the way they have, cos when I first had mine I loved it.

According to 4car.co.uk the 206 gti is a better all round car than the 172, but the looks of the 206 just dont do it for me.

Maybe when they say Clio 172 Cups theyre talking about a very expensive range of merchandising. You know, Clio 172 keyrings, Clio 172 T-shirts, Clio 172 Cups etc... ;)
