Orange gained 3,000 in the last quarter, T-Mobile lost 70,000 customers and Voda lost 158,000. O2 gained 250,000. All those figures are almost all down to the iphone!

Didn't O2 have some data outages recently? sounds like theres a network issue - try the simple suggestion, switch your phone off and on again and it will try log on to a different cell site

T-Mobile and 3 share the 3G network, as otherwise it costs billions upon billions apparantly. Virgin is a virtual network that uses T-Mobiles infrastructure. You'd be amazed at how many Virgin customers believe their signal is "better" than T-Mobiles.... ;) Oh and a little insider info...
