Nope no 'shopping. Just set the correct white balance, a sturdy tripod and 30 seconds of my time. I think I might of just cloned a branch out that was poking in from the right hand side but nout else.
It will work and should auto focus I think.
I was under the impression that the lens had to have the SWM(silent wave motor) inside but I sold a 70-300 cheapo sigma and the guy tested it on his D40 and it worked.
So Im not 100% sure really. Go to jessops, ask to test that lens on a D40, if it...
Can anyone recommend one for a 42" Samsung? I want something that can swivel a few degrees each way, but don't really wanna be spend lots.
Maybe something like this...

But thats a fair bit more than I'd like to spend, or is that a reasonable price?
Chill out, good things come to those who wait.
Does your current car do 70mph? Coz you know that your not allowed to go any faster than that anyway ;)
Just wait till you grow up and treat a car and the roads with respect, atm you sound like you'd crash it within a week.
They look pretty good tbh. Suppose just keep practising, I think most of mine look shite but other people really like em and think there top quality.
Are you comparing s**t quality to soft focus or light quality?
Insurance? Dropped mine and basically dislodged all the internals, luckily I had the curry's cover stuff and I had it fixed and back in my hands within 2 days.
Might be worth renting one for a few days...
I know but I think there will be lots of people with to much money, wanting the latest and greatest selling up there D300's. We shall see. Im hoping they do anyway coz I wouldnt mind a cheap D300.
I didnt compare them :S I said just he could wait until everyones selling there D300's because there's a noticeable difference between the D80 and D300.
Anyway yeah, sounds like you'd be better off sticking with your D80 for now.
Depends what your going to be using it for. The D200 has a higher frames per second rate so for sports it might be better. Also I think the D200 will probably have a higher torque motor so faster focusing but probably so minimal you'd hardly notice. Ive not used a D80 so cant really comment on...
I think it means it not taxed. Ive tried to get a quote on a car and it couldnt find the car, phoned the garage up and they said it was because it was declared SORN.
Yeah looks very good so far!
Don't like the typeface on the navigation bar though, needs something more contemporary to fit with your style. Also when I clicked on a section and I have the page full of your work, Ive got to scroll across to see the rest of the image on the right hand side. Minor...
Yeah looks pretty, must be good!
Ive got one of those and there crap. Well there ok but not all that good for long exposures especially if your using an SLR making it top heavy. Use mine as a light stand now for a flash. There ok to start off but you'll soon realise you need some thing a bit...
What camera have you got?
If you have a D50 then go for the sb800 as you can the put it in SU4 mode and trigger it wirelessly.Or get the SB600 and a set of ebay triggers.
But if you have a D80/D200 then whatever you can afford as those two camera have CLS built in.
As said do it, I recently paid £300 for mine which has 15k+ actuations and the USB port is broken. If everything working perfectly then thats a bloody good deal.
Thats not HDR,just looks really saturated and contrasty. High Dynamic Range basically means you get detail in all areas, so the sky would have clouds, the interior of the car would be well exposed and the shadows in the grill, tires and under the car would all have detail. The CS3 HDR automator...
