I think it depends on the individuals preference ,i have detailed 2 black gold clios ,one with the m seal and one with the factory sealant,the difference in the two from these pictures is hard to distinguish ,both recieved 2 coats but there was no noticeable difference form the factory selant...

My suggetion would be the xxx hardcore paste wax and the m seal from chemical guys at carwashwnax.com Both of these produce and excellent finish on silver paint

The speed wipe has syntetic waxes so it shows a slightly better finsh ,more of a gloss than that of the other ,i also have 2 32oz bottles of this in stock If its a glossier looking finish you are after then this is the one to go for

i have used both types on a black gold clio and found the factory sealant harder to remove ,the m seal can be layered and left on for as long as you like and it still comes off very easy The m seal gets my vote

My preference is towards the M seal as you can layer it and its also easier to apply and remove The factory sealant doesnt have any benefit to layering and is slightly harder to remove Whichever one you choose i can supply a sample free of charge of the other one Both are £10.95 before 10%...

Thers no point in using a 99p towel with a £30 pot of wax ,i prefer the ultra plush towels,the plushest i have came across so far

Ther are a lot more choice when it comes to meguiars nowadays ,and a lot of other products represent better value for money.Cg XXX Hardcore paste wax is a better buy and will last a lot longer

Yes you are right indeed 6 for £4.99 ,i only have yellow ones in stock at the moment,same qualityand they are the same size 16x16 ,ideal for all those odd cleaning jobs on the car

These wheels are 2 years old.A simple application of the Rim Wax left on the wheel for 30 mins and then buffed off to reveal a great shine.2 weeks later and the beading effect is still there.I normally reapply once a month

Yes mate ,have alook at these pictures of my wifes car,just after a clean with the Blue Rim and Wheel cleaner.The Rim wax was applied 2 weeks prior to this shot ,and you can see the water is still beading

Defo wont strip the wax , i normally spray on and the time it takes me to set up my pressure washer then rinse off. It comes up as if ive just rewaxed the wheels

With the Trim Gel i normally leave it around an hour before driving and i have no problems,i also find that i get a more even application with the Tyre dressing applicators and that it also helps prevent the sling up the side of the car

I dont think that the autoglym will do any removal of the swirls ,you will need to use a swirl removal product as it will be more abrassive than the autoglym:cool:

Yes your car needs clayed.The clay bar will help get rid of the tree sap and all other small contaminenets that are not always visible to the eye.A clay lubricant or quick detailer spray is also needed to help the clay lubricate your paint surafce whilst rubbing with the clay bar. In the end...
