sorry dan disagree i would say the janspeed fits bang on, as you saw on mine it may have not sounded as you like it to ,but mines still on now. no blows or banging i think the powers there and i do work on some fast stuff, ie m6 m5 m3 z4m .

i would not fail this on a mot 3 mounts are quite sufficient just take the rubber off or add amount if you wish .

it as two bars at the back goning into the stock rubbers mount and one bar infront on the right side of the others bars going through to rubbers so there are three mounts at the rear in all .

take a look at old post janspeed a look under you can just see the bar on the right as you look from behind .

you ask for the clamp behind the cat to the mid part of the exhaust , you can try and refit it but most fitters just pull it apart and bend it out of line it if you get a new clamp only get a one pice clamp from renault , some are two pice thay are crap . i love my janspeed no blows looks cool...

yes as you push the ring in it may just come out thay keep the ring facing down if you can get some all the better .

do you mean the brass rings that hold the cver to the frame if so we use long noise pliers thay have a slot in them snap on ont seen cheep ones but thay are only for putting them on . we cut them off and fit new ones , or you could use very small cable ties , but the with the cut off facein down .

side walls to hard thay have probs with side walls splitting around looks like knife cuts yes ok in wet + dry but you want them to last as with the bridgestones the crowns will go faster than the tread the mich have renforced crowns so this holds the tyre flat , so you get better wear .
