As Cat says, you cannot. Which is a ball ache because it gets a bit manky over time.
Best bet is to remove the dash and paint the bastardised thing whilst it’s out!
Because you don’t like actual driving.
I’m 100% with Mark on this. If you actually want an involving car to drive, it has to be manual. Anything else is just like playing a PlayStation, point and throttle/brake.
I’ve always had manuals until the 6 series, and after 18 months I prefer driving...
I really like it and I think it's a good choice, however, I can't help but feel you've moved from a flagship car to a fast "normal" car. Were you not tempted more by something with a proper badge? ?
Interesting.
My biggest bug bear with BMW's is that they have their weird time frame where they will do calls via bluetooth but no audio. Mental.
Keep this well updated.
I guess it's just horses for courses. I prefer the apple OS, and simplicity of it all. I could have stuck with my iphone 7 and been paying peanuts, but new things are fun.
But I'd bet I use it more than you use your car... people just have weird fixations on old prices. Like "phones used to be £20 a month". Yes, but the phone is now 20x better, and you use 100x more data.
As I said, it (for 90% of people) is the single most used item you own. It's my camera...
This makes me laugh. Honestly.
It's probably the single most used device in all of our lives and people stew over £10 or £20 a month. That's four pints of beer, or one dominos pizza.
I used my 7 for 2 years, and went an got a XS. So what if it's £75 a month? That's less than I pay in vehicle tax.
