According to the service history no registered problsm with the gearbox/reverse switch. And the reversing lights work. Saying that though the bellend who did the last oil change made a right mess of the cover, spent a good while mopping up spilt oil off it so anything possible!
I quite like this guy hes reasonably comedic unlike some of the evo journos. Not sure why he had to sell this though and keep his M3, id have that porsche any day of a run of the mill m3!
Found this on top of the sump/gearbox cover when changing the oils. Any idea what it is or where its come from? Seems to be a press to make switch like what would be used on a car door/interior light switch.

Agree with this man, When I was 21 I insured quite a few metro gtis with them on a 1 day basis. No bother and done in 10 mins, just a tad expensive now I think (used to be £12.50 a couple of years ago)
Just down this 20 mins ago and I had trouble finding the nut. It can be a pig to undo if you have A/C but just keep on turning and it'll come out even if it seems to foul the A/C pipe. Bare in mind it does take a bit of time on a cold day like today to get 3.1 litres of oil in, so I recommend...
My poor effort after having seen some of the other cars on here. I have had to wash and wax it since as it was getting me clothes dirty everytime I got in
I used to know a guy who'd batter his VVC metro gti to the limiter from stone cold and never had a problem. I have more mechanical sympathy though so I'd not do it but sometimes it seem if you are pig ignorant of problems they'll never happen to you.
my 182 sounds like its blowing from the midbox just after the cat, passenger side. Havent had chance to get fully under the car to investigate yet as I've been busy with work but theres bit of a tinny rattle going on underneath too and was a "whoosh" when giving it the beans. Checked the rear...
Right so its started off as a harsh winter, as we are now all too aware, so whos got the dirtiest car? I cant seem to find a jet wash that works to hose off the clio as they are all frozen up!
My rather poor effort, the camera doesnt show it too well but the whole rear of the car is white from...
Just put a new JVC KD-R711 headunit in and a "connects 2" adapter kit that should enable the steering wheel controls to work...yet it doesnt. Nada, nothing. Is there some sort of procedure for this?
Dark metallic blue 200 going south on the M1 early saturday evening so around 6/7pm. I was in the inferno 182 and we overtook/passed a few times.
Silver 182 spotted in walsall last night on aftermarket alloys.
White 200 parked round the back of the shops in Walsall, where the little cafe is...
I'd say just like any gearbox fresh oil and mechanical sympathy. Also no silly things like reversing hard then into straight first and nailing the loud pedal
Go for either if you ask me, i dont think you'll be disappointed as theres FA in it. I personally think the 182 range of colours isn't all that great, would have been nice if they'd done a metallic green.
