Ive got a couple of old ones from previous cars but then are too short and dont fit correctly. Probably the car saying "stop smoking in me!!"

No it doesnt get red hot at all even if you hold it in for ages. Its not a major problem but its always the way if you want a fag you never have a lighter and you sit there looking like an idiot trying to light a cig for 10 minutes from it.

This has got to be the most minor fault but its annoying none the less when you want a smoke - Does any one elses fag lighter not get hot enough to light a ciggie? Ive resorted to having to carry a normal fag lighter around for when I want a smoke in the car. Mine pops up but doesnt get red hot.

Only happens once in a while so its not a problem really. Thanks for the help

Dont suppose anyone knows of a good place in the midlands that'll do cambelt and a full service for this engine? We've been quote nearly as much as my 182 to do just the cambelt.

Only on track days though, I wouldnt dream of advocating such things for public road use ;) Besides better brakes with standard power is a safer choice as opposed to more power and standard brakes

Any special tools required? Ive got some square ended gearbox drain plug adapters that fit into half inch drive. My spelling is truly atrocious today so apologies

Start with better brakes and suspension setup, you'll be able to go faster through bends and thats where it counts ;)

Used to do this in my old pug 106. I used to carry a fuel can for the walk to the petrol station but I'd usually bottle it and stick in ten quid after the light had been for miles and miles. Due to the dodgy french guage you never knew how much you had in - one minute it was a quarter, the next...

What milage are people dropping their gearbox oil at? Or are these boxes sealed for life units like the PSA/Rover r65 (of which Ive done a few changed on even though they are supposedly never require a change according an friendly rover engineer I know)

Bit of a silly question here but please bare with me as I'm not familiar with the Renault Diesels. Is the Clio DCi with 65bhp turbo'd? Reason being I can see what looks like a long intercool through the front of the bumper on my sisters one but cant seem to find a definate answer.

Completely standard 182 with standard ex. system, give it some welly in 3rd and then back off and slip into 4th. Cue a "bang/pop" from the exhaust system - is this normal on a standard system with cat etc? It doesnt seem to do it all the time just when you come off the throttle quite quickly...

I did reset the computer and it went up to 50+ mpg now its setted down to about 32/33

Saw a very similar one the other day on a 10 plate clio S which start CL10 xxx. Cant remember the last three digits are the girl driving it was rather tasty and I was "pre-occupied" with her.

As title coming out of the BP I think it is on the Wolverhampton Road. I was in the orange 182 if you saw me

All done and Ive now got some peace of mind :) They even gave it a wash too!
