could it be a bad batch of fuel? i would try filling up with fuel from another station and see if it helps the problem, it will go someway to dilute the bad fuel that is already in there (if that is the problem)
have you changed or had any other problems with the car recently ?
would a helicoil be ok for this job ? i have heard they can pack up after a few oil changes or am i talking crap ?
that would be the easier option compared to tapping as i would need to source a bigger sump nut with tapping
a marigold on the hand has also worked for me in the past with a stubborn filter, but tbh there is plenty of room on the clio to get your hand in there without the use of a tool
changed my plugs and air filter earlier but couldn't manage the oil, it looks like the sump nut has been cross threaded possibly...what are my options ?
I never dry my cars after washing as i imagine this would cause a degree of swirling/scratching. I prefer to let it dry naturally (i can live with a few streak marks!)
