It's new.. and you can turn it off on an HD box, so I guess you can on +. Why does it annoy you anyway? :S Does it turn off when you need it on and watching it etc?

It's a feature. I wish mine did it.. not noticed it yet. It was an update on the HD boxes a long time ago along with Sky Anytime.. not turned up on my Sky+ box tho yet.

I found my Mighty Mouse poor, but dunno. Was an original USB one, and the scroll wheel packed in.. and it was over sensitive. Logitech MX1000 is by far THE best mouse in the world ;) I don't use it on my Mac tho - only use Trackpad on it.. I guess if I ever get an Apple Display etc.. and use...

How come you're using 50 connections? I guess that's a concurrent connection limit? Are they particularly high traffic?

Maybe your ISP's servers allow you to authenticate? Authenticated SMTP should work from anywhere.. (Unless your ISP is really, really paranoid! :p)

Dunno what they are like, but, the Axis camera range are quite awesome.. Get a WiFi version or something. I've installed a few and the quality of the picture is quite simply amazing. Put them in an enclosure and you're away! Won't be cheap, but, I've seen some camera's where you can't make out...

I disagree. The fully watercooled machine we built was louder than a system with quiet fans. The pump makes a noise, there are fans anyway on the rads, so I'd only ever use it if you want to overclock like mad. For silence, I'd ALWAYS go quiet fans. It could have been a poor pump or whatever...

All Williams' have power steering, but it's still quite heavy compared to most cars, Heh.

I have other reasons for changing lappys. I still stand by my decision that there isn't a physically better laptop than a Macbook Pro - nothing comes close to it in any department IMO. (Screen, trackpad, keyboard, looks, size) I may stick with the Mac anyway.. I was just looking earlier on.. I...

Yep, because of the iPhone. And, tbh, I'm glad.. cus' I want an iPhone more than OSX. Tiger is absolutly fine.. so a few months more of waiting is nothing.. iPhone, however, is quite important.
