See i thought that so gave it a go without undoing the pullies (timing was **** on before starting) just the horseshoe, new belt on, tensioned up **** on, turned it over 5 times, locked it back up, timing was out and the tensioner was miles off

100% need to file them down or when they get hot, they expand, bind on and destroy the frition material trust me, i sell s**t loads of these (kam will have sent you the 406H pad, it should be the 565H for future reference, both fit just the 565H has a larger pad area and are thicker, same price...
you should NEVER run uprated rear pads on a clio, just simply a waste of money, get down GSF with £7 in your pocket and get some "vetech" rear pads, utter crap and you'll cook them, but that's the point so you have no rear braking effort at all (or very little)
put some utter s**t rear pads in it or just disconnet the hydraulic lines from the rear calipers (note if you kill yourself i'm not to be held responsible!)
diff is off at Quaife, bottom end is pretty much done, just waiting on a lower oil chain cover gasket then i can sort the top end and start putting the car back together :D
