Be nice to see a 172 SC I think, turbo power is awesome but the thought of instant SC power with no lag is also very appealing ! I have seen what it has done for a Saxo VTR so a 172 would be very nice indeed !

Oh yeah course, the locked doors light does not flash tho, the immobiliser and alarm ones do.

Mine is a 2002 02 MKII 172 and it has the same sensors in the car on the door pillars as the 182 I test drove so it must be the Renault alarm even tho mine was an import. It has one flashing red light by the side of the gear stick.

I totally agree with that, the reason I ask is that I know at least 2 people who have the wrong springs fitted to their 172 which is very worrying ! This is especially worrying if you order the parts and get them fitted at the same place, not knowing that they are in fact the wrong items ...

The Eibach Pro springs only drop the 172 10mm from its standard height anyway. I have been phoning a few places and they all say you need to be 25 to drive a modified car ! WTF !?!?!!

It just seems a HUGE risk to take surely ? If you play dumb and say I bought the car like that, I didnt know it was modified, will that hold up ?!?! Doubt it ?!?!?
